    well, you need them for the default styles

    i guess some type of exclusion system could be added in module.xml, but whats the goal here? To reduce file size?

    so it looks like those generated resources account for about 250-300kb of size, which is actually alot more than i was expecting, an app im playing with is 1.2mb, so its about 25% of the size... which is a little suprising

    the problem is its going to be hard to "know" what to exclude, at least automatically, although, maybe an exclusion list can be added in the resources section of the module.xml, and then the app author can decided, something like:

    Wow, that was fast. About the default size,yes, the idea is to reduce the file size. In my test the default styles are about 576 KB . I will not use the default styles ( all will be replaced), so this 600KB are not needed. The idea of an exclusion list looks good

    i actually think someone else wanted this, and iirc correctly came up with some really manual step

    bur yeah, it defo sounds like it makes sense... i mean, even not just for core... i mean, lets say you had a bunch of .psd files or something like that that you would use to generated assets... its probably logical that you would put them in the assets dir for simplicity

    well, without exclusions EVERYTHING in a resource dir will be added as a haxe resource... so if you accidently put a 400mb video in there... whoops! :/

    I "vote" also for the exclusion list, I didn't notice that the assets where all scrapped, and I have also experimental stuff inside those folders 🤦‍♂️

    A strange bug? or behavior? But when I come home, unhibernate my PC, and pull the changes to my repo I made on my lunchbreak, if I've changed anything to do with haxe-ui xml, it will fail to render any components except labels until I restart the langauge server

    That seems more like a language server issue, rather than a haxeui issue. (With a potential fix being to shut down your computer instead of hibernating it.)
