very brief waveforms though because of the amount of samples it would take for full length waveforms

what happens if you only generate the samples that you are going to show and a buffer to either side?

that should help with the performance, no?

that could definitely set me on the right path, thank you thank you

wow, just what I was looking for. I look forward to the code being published!

@strong-sugar-83487 Here are some concepts to get you started: What does it mean for a bullet to "move in an arc toward the enemy?" We need to define that behavior in order to build it. Lets assume its: -When you fire towards the enemy, the bullets should initially not go directly towards the enemy, but should go in another direction and slowly curve back toward the enemy 1. when you fire, calculate the angle the player shot, and make the bullets go +/- 20 degrees from that angle when fired 2. Each bullet should have a bearing (angle and velocity) that can be updated at any time 3. each bullet should slowly rotate its bearing (angle and velocity) toward it's true target (the current position of the enemy). This way, when the shots come out, they travel a bit off from the enemy/target position, and will slowly curve back towards it.

For some reason my school blocked the Haxeflixel api for everyone lmao

!!!!!!!!!

excuse me

what

https://github.com/HaxeFlixel/flixel-docs you can build it locally anyways

as in they blocked https://api.haxeflixel.com?

they probably blocked haxeflixel.com because it has "games"

even though it doesnt really

i think its part of a generic "games" blocklist

hmm

maybe

that's why I'm curious why he specifically said "the haxeflixel api"

I doubt they even did that

?

I mean why would they specifically block the documentation website which is seperate from haxeflixel.com

to me the haxeflixel api could mean the website, the api pages of the website, the github, lots of things

yeah

Idk, I can go to any website but the haxeflixel api, even the haxe api works

strange

if a lot of students go there they may have had it filtered on request

A class distraction of sorts

oo how ?? 👀

wdym by "how"?

i mean post the link that doesn't work for you
