And we are not changing to 5

And it’s also a personal choice to keep 4 so I’m not changing personally

Then I don't understand bringing up zoom at all. Having a team want to stick with a version is a (marginally) more valid reason. "5 sucks because zoom was removed" is asinine and a gross misunderstanding of what happened. I'm so tired of dumb script kiddies saying things like "new version sucks because it removes a thing that wasn't actually removed" and/or making disparaging remarks about why something is bad and spreading that misinformation around when it's something they didn't bother to understand before complaining about it. There are people actively working to make improvements on this free software and for absolutely no compensation. These kinds of remarks are unwelcome and can be taken as a sign of an unwillingness to want to learn from the people in here offering assistance and help (again for FREE). So: use UR brain for a bit

Oh but it’s your opinion, some people use 5 and some don’t

And we are not on Twitter so don’t do an argument about it

It’s 1) My opinion 2) My choice To use 4 not 5

Seifer isn't arguing, he just said that the zoom isn't gone. There's a different way to use it now, which I believe is covered in the migration guide. You're free to use whatever you want to, just be aware that your initial reason presented is invalid.

that's not opinion, it's a fact. It's your opinion to not want to do the new way, which is fine/whatever

You are completely entitled to use whatever version you want. That's not my point or my intention. It's was because of the remark that made me think you had misunderstood something and that I wanted to try to help clarify and mitigate the confusion possibly caused by your remark and to even offer you a bit of advice to help you make more informed decisions going forward, but then you had to go and be rude.

i just cannot understand everything that ur saying but ok

I am not surprised.

I am French my main language isn’t English so it’s normal for me

okay let's go simple - zoom no gone - zoom just different - seifer-senpai want to kno so can help you move to new way - you being butt head

But the only thing I found weird is that why removing the zoom in the new FlxGame function ? But let’s just stop the discussion here

I think it just makes the constructor less complicated. I don't know the specific reason, it is likely in the guide

Thanks imma check it out

Ooooooooooooh now I get it

yep. your zoom parameter does nothing

I personally did not expect that 😅

that's been in there for a while lol

Good job housekeeping Geo 😄

I apologize to the channel for getting heated. I'm just so tired of seeing hateful/disparaging remarks about HF that are completely unfounded. I have a Tweetdeck search for

HaxeFlixel

and I have ended up blocking so many people who are in there saying "HF is the worst because it crashes/runs/badly/doesn't do x/etc etc" and that leads other people to jump on that bandwagon without having even tried it out - and you dig deeper and find out that it's because they are doing ridiculous things (using 6000x6000px images for every sprite, trying to 'hack' people's computers or cause crashes, etc) and/or they just don't know what they are talking about...

Or I'll see {insert famous dev here} saying something simple/innocuous like "i wish it wasn't so hard to do x in HF" (when it's something totally new/unusual/out of the box) and then 1 million accounts will start saying "HF is trash because it can't do x"

maybe think about it more like venting rather than personal attacks on hf, these are often novice kids saying this stuff and generally anyone who isn't a novice will understand it and the kids tempers will temper as they mature

How can I trace every Input pressed?

Like trace the key/mouse you know?

Yeah only it has real consequences, like it spreads through other gullible people who don't know any better. Anyway, I'll be done winging about this.

just put it in a trace function yo

But uhh
