Anyone got any idea of how I could accomplish this?
  • s
So far, I've tried using the scroll bounds and the deadzone to accomplish it
  • s
    with the LOCKON camera
  • s
The scrollbounds almost achieves what I want, but it immediately snaps to the new destination instead of smoothly scrolling to it
  • s
and the deadzone basically does nothing useful
  • s
    hmm

Someone should write a tutorial on doing Zelda like room scrolling but where each room is a different tilemap
  • u
    Well a different state really
  • s
    that's bad
  • u
    no
  • u
    :^(
  • s
    yes that's very bad
  • u
    n-no
  • u
Not bracketing on a new line is bad
  • u
It's sort of a joke/conflict at work. It's nice though, because it shows which code is mine and which is my co-worker's. ^_^
  • s
It's incredibly bad programming and lazy
  • u
    That's a bit much.
  • u
    There's nothing wrong with it.
  • s
    Uhm
  • s
I'm not talking about the brackets.
  • s
    So... no.
  • s
    it's not
  • u
    HAHA
  • s
    o-o
  • u
I thought you just had a really strong opinion on bracket choice.
  • u
    Really strong.
  • s
I mean, putting brackets on new lines is still really bad
  • s
But it doesn't affect the code so it's not like it matters a whole lot
  • s
    Even if it is ugly
  • u
    Subjective.
