user
06/01/2016, 3:33 PMDon't know how many balls are 100 bunnies equivalent to? 😛 - u
user

user
06/01/2016, 3:33 PMPlus they don't get garbage collected apparently - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:34 PMYou could write yourself a simple demo with balls bouncing off the screen bound - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:34 PMMaybe set FlxG.worldBound - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:35 PMI pretty much know why it is - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:35 PMEvery trail is a window-sized sprite - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:36 PMYou could draw those trails on the same canvas sprite, maybe - u

06/01/2016, 3:37 PM.. lol - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:38 PMYeah, I saw it - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:38 PMBut dunno what's it for - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:38 PMOne of the trail effects used an FlxTypedGroup but - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:38 PMI'm assuming it's a bit annoying to have to add everything into a dedicated group for one effect - s
stocky-elephant-7093
06/01/2016, 3:39 PMIT REALLY IS - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:39 PMHaha so that's not an option then - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:40 PMSomething just stops me from opening a folder, I may need a reboot - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:40 PM - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:40 PMThe way this is done seems reasonable - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:41 PMIt also has a demo - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:41 PMOh cool - u
user
06/01/2016, 3:42 PMYeah, that just stamps the bitmap a bunch of times apparently - u
user
06/01/2016, 7:00 PMHmm, the trail effect's a bit better now but it doesn't seem to destroy the effects properly - s

06/02/2016, 12:35 AMUgh, I'm trying to do the SCREEN_BY_SCREEN follow camera but with "rooms" of variable sizes rather than just the size of the screen
