From the tip:
tip: Teammates or agents stacking on top of your work? Use gt get --remote-upstack (or -u) to fetch the entire stack at once, with their branches. [get.remote-upstack ●●○]
I expected gt get -u to do the trick but it apparently does the same as gt get?
a
i think if you do
gt checkout <branch>
where
<branch>
is the top of the stack, it gets all the child branches too? i could be wrong
or it might be
gt get <top-branch>
?
n
sorry the issue was that the remote got butchered in moving orgs.
p
gt get <top branch>
should do this as it syncs all branches from the trunk to the given branch from remote. you can also use
gt get -u --remote-upstack
which also includes upstack PRs that exist on remote. ref doc
