Recently switched my graphite account from a throw away github account to my personal one connected to my works github org. Had the old account linked to the Slack app, now I'm having a hard time getting notifications in Slack from the new account. I logged in to graphite using the old account and disabled the notifications and removed the workspace it was connected to. Logged back into graphite and connected the new account to same workspace but even after connecting it doesn't show as a connected app in Slack even though in graphite is shows as connected.

Hey Ryan, can you elaborate on
it doesn't show as a connected app in Slack
? what is the github login associated with the new account that you actually want to use?
r
In graphite I can see that it is connected to our workspace in the new account. This didn't work until I removed it from the old account. When I go to slack preferences and then to the app management page to see what apps I have connected/signed into it only shows incident.io Sharing my email I'm currently using by DM

This is definitely a thing, you can only have 1 graphite account synced to a slack account so checks out.
...app management page to see what apps I have connected/signed into...
Got it. This im not familiar with unfortunately. To be sure, this is the same slack workspace you had the old account connected to and is the slack app installed in the workspace?
r
Yes, can confirm that the app is installed and that it is the same workspace.
I can access the app but it seems stuck on my old account and since I disabled the notifications it just says sending messages to this app have been turned off. I can't find a way to reset the app or force it to reauthenticate
just got a notification, seems like there might have been a delay in the config change. Thanks for your help.
