currently the split is that replies to existing threads are posted immediately but we'll start batching comments after you create a new thread
that said, we're still exploring ways to leave many replies in a batch

05/04/2023, 3:40 AMseparately, if your concern is notifications we'd love to get your coworkers on graphite notifs (which will batch replies left at the same time together!) so that they can experience real time back and forth discussions on PR threads without having to worry about noisy notifications 🙂
