Can't tell if you're for or against, but this is like looking at a roulette table and saying, "Wow, I should have put it on black, so at least I should put it on now."

I have both invested long term and shorter term flips with pms, certainly not an expert. There could be some value for it beyond simply “gambling”, the recent rise is obviously unusual and should not be expected to continue forever, but understanding its behavior could be very helpful, In my opinion, for somebody who wants to diversify their account. It’s not exactly inversely related to the strength of the stock market but it can be somewhat of a hedge.

China is restricting exports of China and there is a fair amount of industrial use, so the current price may make sense. Having said that, I have no idea where it will go.
