09/12/2023, 1:40 PMWant to open an account just for maaser funds, direct deposit from my employer. Most chequing accounts have fees if you don’t maintain a minimum balance. Suggestions? Trying to make maaser tracking as simple as possible (been using a spreadsheet till now)

09/12/2023, 2:57 PMNot sure if this helps, but I have a savings account for maaser - when I do my bills/income at eom, I calc maaser, transfer it into the account. Then calculate how much I gave that month (from my checking) and transfer money from the maaser account back in. If I have a large enough maaser expense, I'll transfer it when I write the check instead of waiting till eom
