it's slow now but has way better anonimity set than ring signatures can ever provide.

I wonder if next fork would bring these hardcore ring sigs for default, what community would say 🙂

Next fork they are just increasing the ring size to like 64 due to some efficiency gains they would be about the same size (kb-wise) to the current 16 ring size

But they are refactoring that part to be modular in case they wan't to switch it to something better.

Anyway privacy on L2 I think it's a better model price-wise because it allows for institutional money to flow into L1
