Might have just been learning curve. I never really had the need for a graphics card before. But, still weird EULAs broken soft links. Seems like it should have been smoother, but likely an AMD problem.

Here's an interesting read about why Lightning network isn't trustless for payments below BTC fees level. https://link.medium.com/jKCbaJnv0zb For this reason, the channel maintainers might also choose to not propagate transactions at all in high fees environment, not sure though. Its design is just broken in high fees environment, so imo such solutions cannot substitute proper L1 scaling. Especially if the use case is financial system for day-to-day transactions.

(re : Depends what you like. I spent a...) Yeah I use the default mint look, switched back to the original look once they updated the default to have round corners (not my thing)

When I had ubuntu for a while I hated the look and feel so I spent time on themes. Mint theme is just fine for me

GraphQL runs on top of Ergo Explorer and allows for faster access to blockchain information. Default: https://gql.ergoplatform.org If you are having trouble connecting to the default, try one of these alternatives.

There isn't one for explorers. Since there is both an api and website and multiple, I was still thinking how that should be done and planned on adding in the June update. Let me know if anyone has preferences.

You can also use .help, but better to DM the not for that so as not to wall of text general.

    Didn’t follow the rbf discussion
  • t

    thecolj

    05/22/2023, 1:17 PM
But in principle every chain has rbf as long as you resubmit the same transaction with the higher fee
  • t

    thecolj

    05/22/2023, 1:17 PM
For example Monero doesn’t have rbf. But you can do it that way because no miner would be stupid enough to pick up the transaction with the lower fee
  • t

    05/22/2023, 1:18 PM
The initial transaction would then get cancelled as invalid because that input was already spent

You mean indirectly? Yes, but some chains like Bitcoin Cash have built-in measures to reduce its possibility. Ofc it's still possible to double spend but the probability is low enough that merchants can accept BCH with 0-conf transactions of lower value.
