Just updated to Ledger Live 2.55.0 and can now find Ergo in the catalog outside of dev mode. No sure if its there now or if its because i already have the app installed

It's the lack of fee market and their 'Fair' queue of txn processing, and more generally their throughput. see this old doc on how hydra and other scalability solutions will not solve the issue. https://github.com/input-output-hk/cardano-node/issues/3247 - the similar debates was going on around CIP31 and the lack of "data inputs" (they call it "reference inputs") on cardano. - Ergo has the data inputs and fee markets from day 1 so no related issue here. - yet, Ergo's current tech is roughly capable of 1 million txns per day. here is the calculation: average txn size 6kb max block size 8Mb (ergo has no max size however and miners can increase/decrease it) max txn per block ~8M/6kb ~1300 max daily txns ~1300*720 ~ 1M txns per day. - Cardano has roughly 100k daily txns now and a big portion of that is consensus related (staking rewards, etc) and are not real usage. so yes, Ergo is now completely capable of handling less than 100k txns per day with no issue. @kushti_ru you agree?

> (re <@358337369528598528> : *I think this is wrong. - cardano's issue is n...*) btw, a better way to do this calculation is comparing the block sizes not the tps (since the tps is an absurd metric in eutxo model) max capacity: cardano has 88kb and 20 sec blocks -> 88k*5 = 440kb per two mins ergo has 8Mb and 2 min blocks -> 8000kb per two mins on top of that, current tech of cardano will not allow drastic increase of block size but ergo's can be increase with less trouble (we have 2 minutes for p2p transfer and txn validation)
