hi there! Could anyone advice if I can use different backend type for elementary models? Currently I have all models materialised in AWS Athena. And I want to have elementary models inside AWS RDS (which is actually Postgres). Is it possible ? I'll provide my
dbt_profiles.yml
in thread
here is my dbt_profiles.yml file
Copy code
athena:
  target: athena
  outputs:
    athena: &default
      type: athena
      s3_staging_dir: ...
      s3_data_dir: ...
      s3_data_naming: schema_table_unique
      region_name: ...
      schema: ...
      database: awsdatacatalog
      work_group: dbt
      num_retries: 2
      num_boto3_retries: 5
      num_iceberg_retries: 5
      threads: 10
    test:
      <<: *default
      schema: sandbox
    backfill:
      <<: *default
      num_retries: 1
    local:
      <<: *default
      schema: sandbox
      num_retries: 0
    mr_event:
      <<: *default
      schema: sandbox

elementary:
  outputs:
    local:
      type: postgres
      host: ...
      user: ...
      password: ...
      port: ...
      database: elementary
however when I run any model, I still get elementary data saved in athena instead of postgres
