Hi Elementary team, I tried 0.16.0 which was just released. I haven’t identified the root cause. But, let me share the error I encountered on an
edr report
command. Even though I set the dbt profile
elementary
in the dbt project,
edr report
couldn’t find it.
edr report \
                --env "dev" \
                --profiles-dir . \
                --profile-target "dev" \
                --target-path "edr_target" \
                --file-path "edr_target/index.html"

Hey @yu-iskw interesting, I tried to reproduce this locally, does the same command work with version
0.15
? also, can you elaborate on how exactly does your
profiles.yml
look like?
actually, i think i might know what the issue is, can you try to replace the
.
in
--profiles-dir
to
$(pwd)
(or
%cd%
in windows)?

OK. Let me give it a try.
@Ofek Weiss
$(pwd)
works! Thank you !!
o
Awesome 😁

@Ofek Weiss Do you know how to set profile-dir to default location
o
Hey @Abhijeet, what do you mean by "default location", if you want the current dir, you can use
.
in version
0.16.1
of elementary and it should work, if you want to use
.dbt/profiles.yml
, just omit the flag
