    How can I 'resolve' the
    commands.ts
file? I'm trying to use a custom webpack config because a library uses nullish coalescing, which is not supported by default. The
    cypress.config.ts
    is on the root and
    commands.ts
    in its usual folder
    root/cypress/support/commands.ts
    .

hi guys, do you think that this performance approach with cypress is valid ? https://filiphric.com/testing-frontend-performance-with-cypress I've done a POC and the performance time result doesn't match what I've got manually or using another framework....

I don't think so, honestly. Cypress adds overhead because it has its own stuff and is watching so many things, so the performance numbers are skewed. BUT they can tell you if they change over time....

depends on the minimal information someone needs to get started if it's a repo, how do they get goin? You need just that If it's a project, you can use a lot of links learn A - link learn B - link do this tutorial - link then you're up to speed after that refer to more information

The example code for https://docs.cypress.io/guides/end-to-end-testing/amazon-cognito-authentication seems to be out of date for anything v 9.0.0 onwards.

Not a very nice way to phrase that question. It's more accurate to say Discord is a way for Cypress staff to chime in when they have time. It's not part of their main duties and it's largely supported by community members like me

If you have detailed reproduction steps, you can raise an issue on Github (https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress/issues). That, or try to fix the issue yourself

It's an open source product. If many other people are facing the same problem, it's more likely to get fixed

Ok cool. I have to say, if you're wanting people to volunteer their time to help you for free, this isn't the way to approach it

But you're not a customer. You aren't giving them any money. I get you're frustrated, but you are coming across as very entitled
