Oof, I'm debugging a snapshot test right now that's failing in iTerm, but works in Terminal. Can someone remind me why these things are valuable?

I'm checking my path and yadda yadda, just commiserating 🙂

The terminal emulator should have no impact

It's the same shell, different terminals.

Column width and ANSI characters were being snapshotted.....

Fastest way to fix a red test is delete it

We didn't need to snapshot the terminal output of a test executed after being compiled with the webpack compiler 😛

I can’t think of one time they have actually been useful to me

Should write a real test instead of using a snapshot!

i think the test was mostly redundant through other e2e specs

Hello friends, not sure where would be the best place to report but I’m getting 522 errors for docs and dashboard sites. somehow, sending test run data to dashboard works, but webpage seems to be broken. may be a regional thing, I don’t know
