It gets the point across while avoiding words like “partner” or “employee” that big companies tend to get touchy about.

What I think you mean: Client A talks to vendor B. Vendor B sells a service to client A. So vendor hires you (C) to do the job without A ever knowing. So you can't ask A for a case study. If that's the case, then I partially agree with @rich-dog-63222. You can add something like "trusted to deliver work for:" I have two concerns. • If A asks why their logo is on your site, you better have a response that both A and B are ok with. • If B asks why A's logo is on your site, have a response so that your relationship with the vendor remains healthy.
