should Coder OSS be installed on a server somewhere or locally?

what is the difference between coder_access_url and coder_address? Documentation does not make it super clear

coder_address is the address coder is listening on, e.g localhost:8080 coder_access_url is the address coder is accessed through, e.g https://coder.mycoodomainl.tld

Can you edit permissions on codeserver

Like lets say im the host and i send my friend the codeserver to play around with my vscode

Can i set it so that he cant edit or add text and can only access / utilize the terminal

not really

you can do that with VSCode live share though, but it's not really the same (extension that allows a vscode user to connect to another vscode user's current workspace)

tags look like this, they can be staff-only or not and you can order posts using them

and they also have priority, so I would think of the following (ordered top-bottom) - Resolved [staff-only, would be set by a bot when the user runs /done or something like that] - Unresolved [staff-only, would be set by a bot on opening] - Coder OSS (v2) [can be set by users] - Coder v1 [can be set by users]
