That would be amazing - but not sure about the timeline yet. It will probably take longer than that.

@User sorry if you already explained this, but what would be most useful to you if we supported Node modules? Are there specific libraries/frameworks in mind?

When Scott published the tweet I believe he may have DDoSed their API. It looks cool since it’s usable via web UI, or at least you can manage the certs... only 3 via the web UI.

haha if only there was a way to automatically scale

sounds like a problem workers could tackle

@User Does Workers still support WebAssembly?

Could you run the entire Node.js runtime compiled as Assembly and then run Express.js webapps that way with full database and TCP support? Assuming you're in the Workers Unbound Beta.

    yes we do: https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/platform/scripts#webassembly-module-bindings

So could you run the whole Node JS runtime?

    That’s my question too

It wouldn't work - we're still constrained to our custom runtime even in the Workers Unbound beta

Talking about ZeroSSL, can you try configuring ZeroSSL on acme.sh using the EAB parameters (assuming you already have an account) @User?
    acme.sh --register-account --server zerossl --eab-kid xxx --eab-hmac-key xxx

I don't have an account, I can check it out later

    I get certs thru cloudflare

    I get this...
    Usage: _hmac hashalg secret [outputhex]
    [Tue 24 Nov 2020 18:45:38 CET] Registering account: https://acme.zerossl.com/v2/DV90
    [Tue 24 Nov 2020 18:45:39 CET] Register account Error: {"type":"urn:ietf:params:acme:error:malformed","status":400,"detail":"[External Account Binding] The JWS Signature MUST be present"}

That's why I pay for advanced certificate manager
  • c

    11/24/2020, 5:48 PM
Maybe you have to register on their website first

    Idk
  • c

    I've never used it before
  • i

    11/24/2020, 5:49 PM
Oh yeah, but you get the user facing ones and you use the Origin ones for the server?
  • c

    catgirl

    11/24/2020, 5:50 PM
    Correct
  • i

    itsmatteomanf

    11/24/2020, 5:50 PM
I did, that step requires registering account. You should be able to do that from acme.sh, but I didn't realise at first that the web UI was limited to 3 certs 😅

    11/24/2020, 5:51 PM
Gotcha! I have ACM as well (I may not even pay for it...), but it's useful to issue valid certs on servers that you may access locally (Synology NAS, for example...).

Are you in the business plan?
  • i

    itsmatteomanf

    11/24/2020, 7:27 PM
    Enterprise... but it’s complicated 🤣

I cannot speak too much on it, but I would ask your account manager if you have questions they can answer more specifically then we can without the details of your contract

That’s the “it’s complicated” part... it’s a perk from the Community MVP status, so we don’t technically get an official account manager 😅

It was interesting as first when you needed to send a ticket in... they were clueless! 🤣
