I assume we're not supposed to be able to write there(?)

ah thanks for the note. Also, like other servers, emoji responses to releases should be enabled

As eluded above, we've now got the 📣 #802187271067140107 channel! The Cloudflare Workers Bot is setup to automatically post new Workers release notes from the Community (community.cloudflare.com). It checks every 15 minutes (thanks to Workers Cron triggers). Any other suggestions welcome!

I do like the subtle direction this server is taking, with Workers being its own category/role -- leaving space for more products perhaps.

that could lead an unmanageable path.

I know this could be tough, but any major changes to documentation would be nice to call out as well

I actually subscribed my email to the doc repo changes, but it's a firehose.

stumbling upon js lib (supabase postgrest) who use
    cross-fetch
which internally use xhr... i got instant xhr not defined exception. may i ask, what is reccomended way to solve this?

Unfortunately this won't work. Currently there is no XHR support in Workers. But we have plans (though no timeline) for this.

@User yes it is, really easy to setup new db with auto backup. Let me ping the devs about this case.

is it still recommended to use`https://github.com/cloudflare/db-connect` to connect with postgreDB?

Hmm my one caution is that it's not official support for connecting to Postgres since it's not a maintained tool, though it should still work. Also, not sure if this should be used with production traffic. I think @User has more details.

is it better to use database that expose HTTP REST interface? Like Fauna, or perhabs Aurora Data API?

Oo yeah FaunaDB works with Workers! I believe the faunadb-js package has been supporting Workers for a while now. For databases that can be connected over HTTP, our team is working on some tutorials that include Azure. Should be out in the near future 🙂

Hasura is another option, if you like your APIs to be GraphQL flavored!

yes, it's gaining traction lately. What i like is Fauna's temporality ability to save every change on your document. recent pricing change is not that good imo. I am looking forward for durable object to start public beta.

Hey, is it expected behavior to see occasion spikes on the request cpu time (sometimes up to 300ms, normally 8ms to 30ms)? For the same request? Its just calling KV store which I guess would stop the clock while its getting record. So I would have thought it should be pretty consistent? Could cold starts etc explain it?
