I have a question for anyone using Workers. How do you handle request logging? Do you write an entry to KV for each request for instance or don't you log requests at all?

What have now is a simple script that writes the request information as JSON to Workers KV. And I can disable logging using an environment variable for when I don't need it.

But I can imagine that there are other services more suitable (and cheaper) than writing it to Workers KV.

You got a reply from the Team here (https://community.cloudflare.com/t/routing-issues-on-1-1-1-1-from-chennai-india/236582/39?u=matteo).

Reading through your issue I feel like the suggestions are the best. Routing in India is always tricky and ISPs usually send you outside the country.

I’ve been testing Workers for the last few days, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a request from India being routed to a PoP in India. I have a strong suspicion that only paid plans are routed to the PoPs in India.

Most of the time it gets routed to Singapore and sometimes even Europe.

Yeah, the weird routing is kinda a thing in Israel too even if there is a PoP in Tel Aviv... :/

Yeah, India is expensive and hard to get into from what I heard. Often it's Singapore, true.

But the crazy thing is that Cloudflare has like 5 or 6 PoPs in India. You’d think that it be the best CDN in India. I can’t say how it is when using a paid plan, but right now even the budget CDN that I’m using is much better for visitors from India.

hm, what's the best way to run code (including a http request) after responding to the event?

I tried adding code to the addEventListener block after responding, but it seems to go up to the http request and then just stops

any way to make sure it responds before running the waitUntil function?
    respondWith
    doesn't return a promise

just made it wait a bit as a workaround for now
