    from an external point of view, I fail to see where the list of trusted entities shrinks - it definitely still includes Cloudflare, and now also you & the worker

    users using your DNS now have their IP in your analytics logs whereas it wouldn't be stored if they used 1.1.1.1 directly

    And anyway, CF-to-CF requests can be tracked via a unique ID. So CF can just tie a user IP to a Request ID, and the Request ID to the DNS lookup
