    Note that currently we limit you to 1000 buckets per account. This is a raisable limit but I'm not sure if we'll lift it for non-enterprise accounts (we need to see how the system scales before we make that kind of call).

    I mean in theory we could let you treat buckets as folders (without UI support) but the main blockers would be 1000 buckets per account and more flexible naming rules for buckets (which wouldn't be accessible from S3)

    buckets are an organizational tool but typically you think about it in terms of: * Objects that have similar geographical requirements (perf & jurisdictional location) * Objects that have similar ACL/sharing policies * Objects that have similar lifecycle policies

    Last I saw, B2 limits you to 100 buckets so 1000 is a lot

    Also nice that they're unique to account, unlike S3 which has to be globally unique.
