I'm trying to get Pusher.java working with Lucee but having a difficult time with the basics - I keep getting an error "cannot load class through its string name, because no definition for the class with the specified name [com.pusher.rest.Pusher] could be found caused by (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:com.pusher.rest.Pusher not found.... " I copied the path com/pusher/rest into the /context/lib directory, and restarted the service. I have confirmed the Pusher.java file is located in C:\lucee\tomcat\lucee-server\context\lib\com\pusher\rest (I also tried using the website path C:\pathtodevsite\WEB-INF\lucee\lib ) code to create object: pusherClass = createObject("java", "com.pusher.rest.Pusher").init(local.appID, local.appKey, local.appSecret); (if this message is better suited in cfml-beginners or cfml-general I will move my message over there)

Might not be exactly what you are seeking but here is a module built around using Pusher...https://www.forgebox.io/view/nsg-module-pusher
any primary need to use the Java method direct?

I was trying java method because I couldn't get the other way working (other way being cfhttp to send a signed message to pusher to send data to clients... and lucee didn't seem to work with any acf example code)
Thanks for that link Patrick... After swiping some of the code from within PusherAppender.cfc, I think it's working!
