For those of you using Mura (or Masa) with Lucee, could you share with me your settings for the caches defined for the CMS? I have recently switched to Lucee from using Adobe ColdFusion. When using Adobe CF, Mura will create the necessary caches for you. For some reason when using Lucee you have to create the caches yourself, before installation.
Copy code
If you are using Adobe ColdFusion, two caches will be created automatically for you (named {siteid}-data and {siteid}-output). If you are using Lucee as your CFML engine, you have to create these yourself, before you update your advancedCaching setting to "true".

From <https://www.murasoftware.com/blog-archive/speed-matters-maximizing-your-mura-cache/>
I created the necessary caches using Lucee admin. I used EHCache for these and just took all default settings. The site is working fine and is using the caches. The issue I am finding is that the Mura appreload is not clearing the cache. These caches are persisting even after a Tomcat service restart. I have created a CFML script that uses
clearCache()
and
systemCacheClear()
to clear Lucee cache and those do indeed work. I'm trying to find out why Mura's builtin appreload does not clear the caches. I'm assuming I have them configured incorrectly.
Here is a screenshot of the settings for our default-data cache. These are all the default options when creating the cache.
