I try to run Lucee official docker to serve my development project, I understand that I need to map web root (or tomcat ROOT?) folder inside docker container to my local folder to edit pages locally, but serve from Docker container? Or I'm not getting it

If you want a base project to look at on how to use the docker images from Lucee, you can check out my GitHub project here : https://github.com/quetwo/cfug-docker-project 1,000ft view, if you want to do direct editing of your project through docker, add this to your compose file :

volumes:

- ./frontend/webroot:/var/www

where there is a frontend directory, then anything in the wwwroot ends up on the server.
