@Mark Takata (Adobe) Can you have the web team optimize the image sizes on your CFSummit link above. Two of those JPGs (used as thumbnails) are over 9 Megs!! 😳

Lol, someone posted a link to the images containing Ortus folk in the Ortus slack and when I clicked on the first one, the JPG sat there and SLOWLY loaded in on my Gigabit Google Fiber internet. So I was like, holy cow, how large is this thing?? 🙂

@Mark Takata (Adobe) Brad's probably using the same high-speed hotel wifi that I am right now. :( When using large hero JPEG images for clients, I usually optimize them further using JPEGmini.com. (This way, even if the original image dimensions remain the same, the file sizes are a lot smaller.)

Email sent. Berating completed. I would also add that not renaming the images to maximize SEO is pretty damn amateur IMO but what do I know lol.

Not everyone lives on Gig Fiber. Im on "dial-up" when not at the office. Well, hot-spotting off a phone, but its nearly as bad.

Yep. I yelled. It is actually worse than Brad reported. No further comment on that but there was a forehead vein throbbing over here.
