One does have the sense that Java has graduated both middle and school and is now in college, all in the last few years

They're continuing to do a stellar job of stealing from the the open-source community. Have they had an original idea in the last to years?

I wonder if having your actual environment visible around you would help with the VR nausea I get when I play VR games for too long

looks like another way to play on an ipad; so not much additional OS changes/creation they had to do.

If the clarity is good enough to code on it, I’ll get one. I tried Immersed on the Quest, but the resolution was always too low. Even on the Quest Pro.

Apple? Secretly collecting my private data?.... we will all start getting ads like: "we noticed your toaster is a little old, wouldn't you like this new toaster?"

I think the proof will be in the pudding, but the R1 chip in it sounds like it is focused on minimizing lag, which is the primary driver of nausea. High resolution, fast redraw, low lag. Combined with passthrough, should minimize or eliminate nausea hopefully.

Most apps, if you read the details gank the right to read, listen, and procure all your data (or as much as possible) and will not operate if you turn off your camera, location, microphone, access to contacts, or access to your browser info.. A good example of this is most insurance carriers' "apps", they all want access to this. Another example is any connected vehicle app. Droid, and IoS all want to snarf your data. If you really want to watch how fast you get tailored ads. Another example is Pandora.. Go ahead, talk about having Chrones disease, or wanting to travel to Vegas, or complain about your knee, you will within a day start to receive custom ads, tailored to your conversation(s).
