I think thats what allow a line debugger to work. suspend=n means don't wait for the debugger, address is 5005. depending on java version I think the address=nnn has changed format

I want to personally thank all of the folks that signed up for and participated in the CF Fortuna pre-release programs over the last 6 months. We had nearly 500 people who joined the programs. This is a 3 -4x increase over the CF2021 beta program. I know we had issues with our engagement, and I personally learned a ton. This was my first time running any kind of beta program, and it showed, but I promise, on our side we did get a lot of value and your interactions with us, bug reports and feedback resulted in a better product that is going out here really, really soon. With yearly CF releases now becoming a thing, expect the beta program to get a big leaner, more efficient, and with folks getting in earlier so that we can make sure we surface issues sooner. Also expect tighter integration & communication with our partners. I'm excited for CF23 to land, but even more for what's ahead in '24.

How does one download ColdFusion 2021 installers these days? I am unfortunately in a position of needing to rebuild one of my development boxes and I can’t find anything on the Adobe site that seems to support downloading anything but 2023. If I go to https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-downloads.html#downloads1 and select “Adobe ColdFusion (2021 release) from the “Select installers and other tools for a ColdFusion version.” drop-down list, it presents a “Download Trial Edition”. Seems perfect, until you click that button and it takes you to a page to provide information about yourself and your company and the only versions available to download are 2023.

wait, does that mean 2023 is out of beta now? Did I miss something?

@Mark Takata (Adobe) Just reading over some of the 2023 release notes and landed on https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/deprecated-features.html and noticed that Flash Forms is shown as "Retired" in 2016 but deprecated and unsupported as of 2018... seems like those should be the other way around based on several other entries in that table?

@Mark Takata (Adobe) Who can I reach out to regarding CF licensing questions around a SaaS application currently running CF? We are a small company operating with 3 enterprise licenses across 3 servers. 2 of which are public facing and used in round-robin load balancing, while the other is part of our fallback measures. After a recent architecture questionnaire requested by our account manager at Adobe, we're now being told we need to switch to annual licensing per client using our app, equating to over $100k a year. This coupled with a 3-year term and having to scale up if we pick up any more clients is a beyond impossible option for us. I'd say I'll reach out to our account manager, but I'm not interested in a sales pitch. I need a solution that's realistic for us. Thanks.

Docs are confusing:

Looking for a little feedback here, since CF 2023 has just been released we (CF Webtools) are looking at having a mini summit in Omaha sometime this summer or early fall. The vision would be to work with Adobe to have expertise in place to make it a valuable use of all of our time. Since the CF Summits are in DC and Las Vegas it makes sense to have one in central US. For now we are wanting to gauge the interest level for this effort so if you would like to learn more about CF 2023

Anyone familiar with purchasing CF licenses and how best to get license keys? For the last 20+ years we've always done subscriptions, with our latest being an "Upgrade plan (renewal) (2 years)" that's valid through 15-Dec-2023. I'm thinking that should get us license keys for the 2023 upgrade. However, reaching out to Adobe for the past week+ via email has proven entirely pointless. They just keep forwarding my contacts to resellers who want to sell me more license. Any suggestions on who to contact other than the fine folks at Lucee?

Can packages be installed on a offline server?

Trying to get CF2023 up and running. Normally I use CommandBox (thank you Ortus!) but trying to get this spun up via the Adobe installer, etc (in Docker). I've run CFConfig to setup datasources, etc. But when I look in CFAdmin and check my datasources - it's complaining about mysql not being installed (see screenshot). Running cfpm list however does indeed indicate it's installed? And when I click into that datasource I see "The standalone MySQL JDBC driver is no longer shipped with ColdFusion. Please download it, put it in cf_root/lib folder and restart ColdFusion." Huh? So which is it Adobe? Do the mysql package not include the driver? Confused...

What are opinions on 2021 upgrade to 2023 vs new full install 2023 and migrate settings and apps on new server. Has anyone done a simple upgrade easily?

More issues with CFSetup... when I export ALL - it doesn't export datasource - nor does it actually export everything - where is JVM, MAIL, etc? If I explicitly pass a category - it does save a json file... (and prompts me for a password) I don't really want to define every category because that becomes a bit brittle - what if you add or remove one? Below I export all, and I export datasource. Then I list the directory and you can see there is no all.json but there is a datasource.json?? Frustrating :\
