Need clarification regarding WhatsApp billing behavior. I tested: * 1 incoming WhatsApp message * 1 short bot reply But usage increased by ~5 events. In Events dashboard I can see: * whatsapp:messageSent * whatsapp:messageDelivered * whatsapp:messageRead * state_expired * message_created Can someone from the Botpress team explicitly confirm: Are WhatsApp delivery/read lifecycle webhooks counted as billable ā€œMessages & Eventsā€? Because if those status webhooks are billable, then the effective conversation capacity becomes dramatically lower than expected for production WhatsApp AI agents.

Will get insight from the team and get back! šŸ˜„
What is considered an incoming message & event? An incoming message & event is any action that triggers bot activation. Only incoming messages & events that a bot listens to count towards the quota. The following actions count as an incoming message & event: • A user saying "Hello" to a bot • A reaction being added to a message • A proactive trigger that opens the bot • A session timeout event • Opening the Shareable URL • Publishing your bot (counts as 3 events) The following actions don't count as an incoming message & event: ā€ • A message sent by the bot in response to a user message • An execute code card • Flow transitions
so the answer would be yes, it is counted as billable.
