    I took a look at the issue. Indeed it needs to be fixed in the
    stimulus-rails
    package

    if that's possible to do to your app, it's a good temporary measure to have Avo v1.0+ installed

    ... and then, later, when they fix the issue, you can pull it out again

    Only just got around to checking everything. My project is just a spare time project at the moment and my spare time got nuked by a house purchase the day after we discussed that issue. I've just checked out that initializer workaround and that's working fine for me, so Ill use that in the mean time until that PR gets merged and everything gets updated 🙂

    Hey @User think I might have an issue with symbols on badge fields. A method in the model returns either :free, :monthly or :yearly When expecting those values on the badge field they just stick to the default which is the info type. If I change the field and the model method to use strings instead, they work fine. Could this be a bug or am I missing something?
    Copy code
    field(
        :my_field,
        as: :badge,
        options: {
          success: :yearly,
          info: :free
        }
      )

    did you try to use strings in the field declaration👆?

    actually... did you try to leave the method to return symbols and the field declaration to use strings?
