Firebase was laughable in comparison when it was in beta, so many people hated it

I'm just expecting atleast what you have on your hosted version to be available as open source

in comparison supabase being just in beta, and receiving the traction that it does already

This entitled attitude is a problem with the open source community. People want everything, and many contribute, but a small selection want everything delivered on a silver platter just so they can complain that the platter wasn't shiny enough

Gotta make money somehow, focusing on the chargable bit and then releasing the oss dashboard is a sensible business decision imo 👍 otherwise we'd all have nothing

Yea I agree. Its not just supabase. But if you abide by your open source values so much, I wouldn't use false advertising for marketing
