hi! the submission site says time is up, but there's still about an hour left?

It's a weird way to put it but it has passed that date. Timezones are tricky. For example it looks like it ends at midnight in Vancouver, but we are currently observing PST not PDT, so if we apply the PDT offset it it actually currently 00:07:15 PDT which is UTC-07:00 https://time.is/PDT

on the blog it does say PT, so i assumed PST not PDT since we're not in daylight savings anymore

@zernonia now that the hackathon is done. I was thinking a timer next time and the btn that flips to show your timezone shld either say so or have a descriptive tooltip. I discovered it by accident. What do you think?

No matter what the countdown says, I recommend people submit around 6 hours before deadline. Waiting until the last minute can sometimes cost a submission..

What do some of you eat for breakfast? the rate at which you churn out projects for the hackathons is awesome. One day I will get to that speed of development and deployment I hope.
