I do find the modern interface of Obsidian appealing, but I'm sure i can find a setup in VIM that appeals to me well enough

Hello, is it possible to add graph view to published (on GitHub) site?

I am running Dendron native in a vscode project workspace. Is there a way to link lines from my project code to Dendron notes?

Found the answer: 1) in the code, highlight part of a comment. 2) Do a control shift C which will add the link-reference to the end of the comment. this also puts the link reference into the clipboard. 3) Switch to the page in Dendron you want to link to. Press control V to insert the link.

hello, I'm planning to create a bookmarks manager browser extension and I'd like to interface it with Dendron. Do you know if I can use its API from my extension (or generally, from outside Dendron)? For example, I'd like to provide the refactor hierarchy feature using the Dendron implementation.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why I can't see a basic schema graph with "root" connected to "software" with this setup. Does anyone have a though on what I'm doing wrong?

I've disabled all extensions except Dendron's for this experiment

I cloned the dendron-site repo and still don't see a schema graph. My VS code is up-to-date. Maybe ARM macs have an issue?

you could copy settings.json to another file and then remove all, keep brackets only

hello. If I write a file name in a language other than English (eg Chinese or Japanese), how will the url look like if I make it a site?

URLs, by default, are actually generated by the

id

of the Dendron note instead of the

title

. So different language content on pages won't impact the URL itself

Hello everyone, not sure where to ask. I am trying to build a workflow for research note-taking. Is it possible to combine Obsidian with dendron? I am trying to use the Obsidian-zotero integration to fast create bibliographic notes and then literature notes but dendron can't read the file names from Obsidian.

Hi, I recently started a graduate job w/ VS code and been looking for a PKMS note-taker and found both Foam and Dendron. I've previously toyed around with roam and similar. I am lost as to why I might want Dendron over Foam? The new generation PKMS tools do away with rigid heiarchies because they're well known to be a barrier to note-taking. One of the pluses I picked up on utube of Dendron is it has hierachies. Why would I want that?

I did a clean install of only VS code and Dendron on a virtual linux box and was still seeing the same issue for some reason :/

I'm trying to get an idea of best practice regarding workspaces & vaults: Say I want to keep programming cheat sheets, also a real estate knowledge base, etc. I want to share certain notes with limited people. When should I use a different workspace vs using a different vault?

Also, what's the best way to support Dendron (financially or otherwise)?
