Not sure about publishing but in general I'd put the PDF in

assets/pdf

and link to them. Though using a markdown link not an image link, i.e. without the ! at the beginning

I was following https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/issues/1237 It seems to have a fix merged to master, but it does not appear to be mentioned in the recent 0.59 and *first *tests suggests it does not work yet. Which branch is used for this purpose?

I like to use my markdown notes as the basis for presentation slides, using something like pandoc, marp, or slidev. Are there tips anywhere on how to publish notes to slides? Or does anyone have a setup they like? I have something duct taped together with scripts using the markdown export pod and then I process with slidev, but it doesn't seem optimal.

I use reveal with markdown. Thanks, I like reveal. Using the VS code extension is helpful for me to see the slides but I would also like to publish them. To include the published slides somewhere is the easiest way to run an export pod, build the slides, and then copy in the files? I'm OK with that, just not sure if I've setup something silly.

the vscode reveal extension lets you export the slides as either html or pdf. i keep the markdown source in dendron and share pdf/html elsewhere as needed

Ah, I see. I have my site published as a GH action so I kind of wanted the slides to build as part of the deploy script. But I could also export by hand.

I use pandoc to generate PowerPoint output which works well for my needs. Following the docs I had created a template with corporate identity but these days I just copy the non-styled output into a company template.

Hi. Is it possible to disable colored squares next to tags? Or, maybe, event apply my custom css to style tags? I use emodjis for tags and with squares it just looks too "busy" for me...

I completely agree that the squares for tags and also the return links for footnotes are too noticeable and loud. These things are not content and should be minimal, less pronounced that the content (text and images)

There is an option to disable it in published sites, but not in the editor. If you could send a feature request, I can add an option.

Hey everyone. This has probably been answered already, but I wondered what might be the most efficient way to insert a new note based on a template. Let's consider that we have everything already in place regarding the template files, schema, etc. When I popup the lookup and I start writing the file name, one of the entries that appear to me with the name already fulfilled is the templates defined for that particular path. In the past (5-10 versions ago), if I selected one of those entries, a new note was created with that name and using the template content, but now, if I select one of them and click enter, the full name is not used, only the name I've typed. And the note is also empty. If I want to really use the template, I have to type manually the full name, which is a bit annoying. Is this normal behaviour? Any workaround? Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work.

hmm, the backlinks in previewv2 only shows after I reload window (after making a new link), is there a github issue for that?

I guess you can try a textexpander/creating snippets (both serves the same purpose), and insert it when you create a note (which you want to want to apply a template to) if you don't want to deal with schemas

I'm ok dealing with schemas, nevertheless if I'm actively selecting one of the notes in list, one that does not exist yet but it has a template defined, I think it could use that selection to create the note. I already use a textexpander to create 60-70% of the note name, but the final part I have multiple templates and I'm happy by selecting it manually.
