If that is the case, I believe I have found a bug when using the markdown import pod: while the assets are imported, they are not having their name changed in the notes referencing them (whether that is the folder "assets" they are copied to or UUID if it is configured for addition to all asset names). I have also found

Dendron: Configure

which allows to change the asset folder name, but markdown import pod is not actually using that setting on first import.

we should have updated the documentation. it was confusing for people who only had partial schemas so we just opted to not show a book

I would love to have the Markdown All-in-One list management features in Dendron.

And on the subject of lists, it seems when I try to reference a list item with a block reference like ^important-paragraph, it captures the whole section. I'd love it if I could capture a single list item, i.e., treat list items as paragraphs.

I'm looking to cultivate a "semantic markdown" use case, where each list item corresponds to, basically, an RDF triple. I think those caret-based "block IDs" are perfectly suited to "reification", i.e., allowing you to make statements about statements.

Anyhow, from https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/f1af56bb-db27-47ae-8406-61a98de6c78c.html it seems like you're supposed to be able to reference a single bullet point, but I've tried it with "*" and "-" bullet points, and somehow it captures the previous heading. Happy to open a bug, but maybe I'm doing something wrong, so wanted to see if anyone else can confirm.

Hm, this is more for easier table manipulation. I was asking about having multi-line cell values in md tables without using

br

tags as line breaks. There doesn't seem to be a good way of achieving this. I found an issue asking for LaTeX table support (https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/issues/665), which will kind of solve my problem (if it will be possible to use wiki links in LaTeX tables).

hi guys, got a question RE multi-vault publishing.. my use case is: - have multiple vaults within one vscode workspace - want to selectively publish particular vaults easily -- I see that you can do this by changing the config in dendron.yml is there a way to easily switch between selectively publishing vaults instead of changing the.yml config each time?

or I suppose this could be done by renaming the dendron.yml as separate config files, such as

dendron.yml.vault1

, or

dendron.yml.vault2

? any suggestions how u guys handle this?

Maybe you could make a video recording of the process starting from nothing and ending up with, say, two vaults, one published and one not? Should be fast to make and would link the process plus expose things that might be obvious to you as the authors but not that obvious to the users and definitely not obvious to new users...

That's a good point @User. I agree. On top of that, we have a few published examples that use close to all the features exposed, so we can also provide specific references to how they are used in a real published site. We'll keep your feedback in mind when we work on updating the docs 🙂

Just found yesterday your tool by chance (currently using Obsidian) and I'm really impressed... kudos to the team! 👏 Yesterday , I've spent almost all the day playing with it, and I'm considering it as a possible alternative to Obsidian in the future One thing I've seen I'd be currently missing is the ability to include PlantUML diagrams (AFAICS only mermaid is available right now...)
