Yeah, made the same setup on multiple notebooks but the issue stays the same and I cannot understand why, I also uninstalled all other extensions

If I may take a wild guess, it seems to me that when I start a wiki-link with [[ the lookup for filenames checks all the files on the first call but on subsequent calls to verify if there's alredy the file in the list, it stops at n-1 file. Don't know if this could be a compatibility issue with latest version of VSCode

it could be - what version of vscode are you on?

Wikilinks should work without external extensions.

something you could share? If it doesnt contain sensitive info, it would help diagnose the problem. Also the result of running

I don't have anything written inside that note

how did you create the file? if the file does not have frontmatter (like the one prepended to root.md), it won't be recognized as a note properly by the extension.

I created the note using ctrl + L

are you using VSCode's built in preview or the preview that comes with Dendron?

wikilinks are not part of the markdown syntax so the built in preview won't recognize that.

Dendron comes with a preview that can display wikilinks correctly.

You can use either of these. (eventually V2 will be replacing V1)

I noticed a small bug today. Opening a link to a non-existent stub note throws an error that the file doesn't exist and on clicking

Create file

creates an empty file that doesn't contain the dendron metadata.

This question has just been tinkered in my mind. When I use github pages to host a dendron published site, is it a good practice to store all images/attached files in the github repo? Since the github repo size is recommended to be under 1GB. Take example of smt like the wiki dendron pages. With many screencap and animated gif tutorials.
