    Adding ../ in front of the image target did the trick

    we add it to .gitignore by default because we optimize for the use case of having each vault as a separate git repo (this is useful even if its local). we'll need to make this configurable for the single repo case

    Any chance you have a conflicting extension installed? Make sure the extensions here: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/301e4129-6933-4be7-a4bd-8125171360d8.html are the "Dendron" versions

    If you've got another extension (for example regular Markdown preview enhanced) it might cause such errors.

    philosophy for Dendron? I am not seeing any mention of it in the [handbook](https://handbook.dendron.so/notes/8989a93d-8dde-4a51-bb8d-2aad761c93a1.html). My default is to presume they are categorizations like elsewhere on the web and in other apps?

    ok works in the normal vs code but now, the window opens not in the left side, instead it will replace the markdownpreview window and open a new tab on the right side haha

    Unfortunately that is a known issue, arguably it is the intended behaviour. My understanding is that they are planning on replacing the whole preview pane with something new. In the meantime if you want to navigate between notes use the editor pane, not the preview pane.

    Hey guys, if I delete a bunch of files over in the file tree, does dendron know I've deleted them, or should I not just delete stuff willy-nilly?

    Oh! I had no idea you could do that! Cool. Although I think that @User wanted a list of links, rather than the actual note contents. A way of automatically generating a "table of contents" for a hierarchy would be quite a cool thing to have, maybe a candidate for a feature request?

    I'm pretty sure you are supposed to use the command "Dendron: Delete Node" and not just delete things from the file tree, otherwise the internal tracking of links doesn't get updated. There is probably a way to recover though if you have done that ...

    I have a backup of the whole vault saved. But I don't need anything I deleted. Basically, I needed to start over with my notes but not lose anything else related to it
