granted that graph is probably the best way to visualise relationships of tags, but it's not possible to fold graph nodes now in dendron

got it. currently tags are referenced using backlinks (https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/f7ebd4aa-8ba7-4bc5-bd00-a1efc5315f07.html#backlinks) through note based tags (https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/8bc9b3f1-8508-4d3a-a2de-be9f12ef1821.html) we also have a backlog item to automatically create index pages for hierarchies. i think the combination of those two should get close to what your talking about

actually now that i've typed it, i'm more excited about glancing/traversing available tags in a dynamic graph map 😆

ah okay,... i've only been trying dendron for like 2 days, i'm sure it'd take at least a few more days to grasp the concepts more firmly. i'll add that to the reading list!

2 questions on the new `.dendron.cache.json`file that gets created since 0.39:

- am I right that this is specific to the machine I use it on and not only the vault? I.e. it doesn't make sense to keep it in version control

- if that's true, how do I add it to

.gitignore

? I added naively the name to my `.gitignore`but is seems to be ignored. I tried several variants but it seems I'm missing something obvious

yes, for now it should be ignored. can you check if the cache was included in a previous commit?
