The way dendron does tags, combined with how each tag tree is accessible from the sidebar or lookup, makes the app very versatile

Is there a way to convert filenames from an underscore format to kebab case and maintain existing links? Using the refactor command to replace "_" with "-" only replaces the last "_" in a name. I recently learned that using kebab case results in the frontmatter title having the same note name but with "-" replaced with spaces unlike when you use "_". Plus kebab case is easier to type anyway

unfortunately, I THINK we need some to support capture groups and backreferencing the captured group in order to do something like this. We can't do this yet. see https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/issues/116

yeah, just affirming what @User stated. we can either make refactor better. this might also just be a good addition to add to the doctor command (https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/eea2b078-1acc-4071-a14e-18299fc28f47.html#doctor) in which case it would be a good 2nd task 😇

very simple question that i can't googlefu properly! how do I use dendron (vscode) within a coding project? i want to take notes, thoughtstream, but i'm only seeing how to have dendron open as its own project workspace

am i supposed to init a workspace within the project itself? am i trying to use this incorrectly?

Is there anyway to automatically add a section to each file (e.g. in the end) where it is listed the respective back links of that file? I have that information on a vscode bar but I was wondering if Dendron would be able to manage that in the files directly as well.

I use the PARA system, and on my work PC I have 2 vaults... but I'm noticing that while both vaults have p.schema.yml, a.schema.yml, & r.schema.yml... the copy from my primary vault is applied to both vaults.... is that expected behavior?

schemas are currently global across your workspace, so whichever vault gets loaded first is the schema that is applied. working on updating this 😅

OK, good to know... maybe for now I'll just prefix everything in the work vault... then when this change is ready, it's just 1 find & replace to fix the links

not quite- right now a new note is created, the title of the note.is.this. Id like to set the title of the note.as.this, the same as the file name. Reason is because logseq parses [[links]] as the note title set in the yaml, not as the filename.

You can use wiki links [[note.name]]. This creates a forward link to a note.
