git is complicated, even for computer scientists. we're trying to smooth some of the edges by wrapping dendron functionality around it but suffice to say a lot it still shows up

@User It's all good I am just venting. I cannot seem to get a basic repo connected to keep my notes between work and local computer - going to keep trying until I figure it out though. I have a private github repo and I cannot seem to connect it to vs code. Once I can connect my account to vscode I can just commit my notes at the end of each work day then clone on my personal computer...

Weird—now the note is detached again. When I try

Again, not urgent or anything. Just strange. Any ideas of what to try next?

wow - that's very strange. It seems more a case of that specific screen size ratio than anything you did with the naming.

IIRC I encountered similar detached notes. They were the result of having the same note in two vaults (I had copied it outside Dendron from one to the other).

Does anyone here successfully use AsciiMath (http://asciimath.org/) in Dendron? It's not supported by default and I couldn't get it to work yet. There seems to be a working solution here: https://github.com/shd101wyy/markdown-preview-enhanced/issues/1166, but it looks like the configuration isn't re-loaded from

~/.mume/mathjax_config.js

when I try to change it

ah, this is because we're not looking at that config since we use remark to parse markdown and the original preview uses

markdown-it

Looks like Dendron changed my VS Code to use open-vsx.org as an extension marketplace

Is this a known bug and if yes, how can I revert to the default Marketplace?

dendron shouldn't affect your extension marketplace. are you using vscode and can you confirm whether this is dendron or an issue with another extension?

vscodium ships with open-vsx by default. You can change it in your product.json
