If I remember correctly, in one of kevin's many videos (👏 ) he had mentioned it helps to create tags (which are just nodes really) under a 'tags' hierarchy. That way you can see and query all your tags, and do a lot of other magic with it. I'll put a link to the video here if I find it. essentially, we're treating tags as pages so that all the usual functions like backlinks work with tags just like they do with pages. we'll be adding some sugar around tags in the future so that

#foo

will be recognized as

[[#foo|tags.foo]]

by dendron

When you publish, the links to Children nodes appear at the bottom. Is there a way to specify to not show the Children node links?

@User w.r.t. hiding part of the link you talked about decorators - I've been looking a bit into it, but I don't see any option to replace the text that is being decorated. https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/blob/a699ffaee62010c4634d301da2bbdb7646b8d1da/src/vs/editor/common/editorCommon.ts#L628 does define fontWeight/Size etc, but they don't seem to work when tested using a plugin to test adhoc decorators: https://github.com/monade/vscode-custom-code-decorator

If you create your workspace in Google drive this will work. I started like this (using Nextcloud but the approach is the same). Git on the other hand gives you a history in case you delete some note by chance or any other catastrophic events. That's why I switched to git. In my case the repo is just the vault not the complete workspace folder. You can then add the repo as a remote vault. to work on that. Went back to my reading notes, and the weird outsized rendering of the nav area is gone! Do not know why, was not any new Dendron release, though there was an update of Vscode-Insider. Oh well, back to experimenting with my reading notes. My naming pattern results in way too much nesting, a lot of which is not useful. I might do some mock-ups of a more useful reading note nav-area and post in #766135383335370783
