I have Prettier installed on VSCode with formatting on save and if I save

on a single line it will format it to use only the single ` on save

Is it possible to build a site locally so that the links within the .html files point to the relative file paths and you can open them without the need for a localhost or hosting url? Or, am I missing something?

Thanks, I'll look at it. Use case; let's say I want to share my Vault with someone so they can view them in a browser, and offline. I could simply build it locally, zip all the files and folders and email it to them. All wiki links, and search functionality will be preserved in the html files, without having to open them in VSCode (or a markdown viewer) and they can be viewed offline.

Maybe possible somehow but I think the builds of Dendron use 11ty which would FWIU still require node.js to run locally

So, I got it to work partially. In the dendron.yml I entered the path to folder where the index.html file would be created when you build the site locally.

The forward links seem to work fine, back links take you to the browser file explorer. Also, the search functionality doesn't work and the left side tree view doesn't display. Additionally, the images showed a broken icon. @User Do you think this can be a potential feature request, or there may be existing extensions that do something similar, or a total garbage idea to have offline browser notes (without localhost) capability?

Hi all. I have been using dendron for the past two months and have been in love with it. Something I do often but encounter friction with is adding a new asset and linking to it immediately after. My current workflow is to paste the file into my assets folder and then type out the asset link wherever I want to reference it but this can be a bit laborious even with autocomplete when there's many files with similar names. Is there a workflow where I can be in a markdown file, paste the file where I'm currently editing and have it copied to my assets folder and have a link inserted where my cursor was? Similar to how the "Paste Image" command works?

oh interesting - could I see a screenshot or something? That seems like a bug since a multi-level hierarchy should just result in multiple expandable headings.
