Since Dendron is a very useful project, I'd not rush with new updates, but test thoroughly at least a week before the public release. Just my two cents, same happens to me when I build apps 😊 I'm glad this project exists

Running v0.67.1 on a Windows 11 PC and also on a Ubuntu PC ... the Linux build doesn't have the 'Dendron: Show Preview' available

Do you have a note already open? The preview command only shows up if you are in a Dendron workspace and have a note open now. It works for me as long as I have a note open (Arch Linux, vscode 1.61.2)

Yes, a note is already open. On startup it warns me that there are multiple vaults with the same name - I'm not able to locate what it thinks is duplicated. Can only assume related - hitting F1 to open the command with Ctrl-Shift-P and typing Dendron: to see all available commands, there's just not even a 'Show Preview' listed as there is on the Windows install Edit: No, not related. I fixed the duplicate (was opening at the wrong folder level) but still no command available for 'Dendron: Show Preview' Edit 2 .... and now, mysteriously, it appeared. I'm not going mad. I know it was not there previously.

by the way, this is now supported (at least by dendron) by the Dendron: Open Link command

Is it possible for the build site function to build a website that is wider and more suited to wider monitors?

It seems like in the latest build, one can't copy and paste somewhere else from the "Show Preview" Tab anymore. Is there a reason behind that ?

this is probably because of vscode update. we have a fix for this that is going out in tomorrow's release!

the new TOC from Dendron 0.68 looks awesome 😄 also thanks for referencing buttondown.email. Although it is not as polished as substack, but it looks nice to use and more affordable than convertkit

I like that generated local TOC, too. Really helpful for the longer format notes/docs to see where you are and preview what's all there

The new published site style looks great! One question: is there supposed to be a visible indicator for "deep links" / H2-H6 links? In my browser (Firefox 94.0.1, mac OS) there's a scroll target to the left of any given heading level's word that lets me copy a link to that heading, but I don't see a

eh... that looks like a feature that we have yet to migrate to nextjs 😅 could you file an issue? we'll be sure to add it for the next release!

I think the new Dendron update screwed up the equations and mermaid chunks on the built website. Essentially, latex equations are rendered once in proper latex, and again in normal text for some reason, and mermaid isn't working at all. You can even see this on the Dendron wiki page itself https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/8DCgctK-RMD4EeHjC5_hI/

thanks for the report. the mermaid support is still a work in progress (it works on first render but not on subsequent navigation). as for the latex, looking into that

while you are looking at fixing mermaid, can the styling of mermaid diagrams on the web be made to match the preview in dendron? otherwise it is hard to design. thanks

I thought about a feature for dendron. Maybe it's not worth for the implementation but I'd like to know your opinion. I see myself copying stuff into notes which should only temporarily stay in the notes (i.e. credentials within a command line command maybe). It would be nice if the block could destroy itself after a given period :D. It might be hard to implement with a good experience I think.
