I updated to

and anchor links still don't scroll down to their respective anchors, both in Preview and Preview V2.

is a quite a bit misleading since we only fixed the the scroll to header within the note once anchor in the preview is clicked on. But it does not scroll down within the preview itself. We likely need to do the work of getting out of iframe for the scroll within the preview to start working.

The preview does not scroll down to the header when I click on the anchor within said preview. This happens for both cross-file links and links pointing to the anchor within same file. However the editor does sometimes scroll to the line of code containing the header on anchor press. This works in a weirdly inconsistent fashion - it works for some links I use but not for others. I can't pinpoint exact reason why to write up a test case.

However, Discord doesn't allow me to edit the announcement note. Will change within dendron notes though.

Is it possible to make items in the Outline panel draggable so that the user could easily rearrange the order of the sections in a document?

not in the built-in vscode outline. we would need to build a custom component to do that

Another navigation pane exanple that has a different aproach:

They don't bother flipping/spinning the triangles, and the breadcrumbing is limited to "you're here" shown with bolding, (or maybe its just a color change), a thickening on its "level rail", plus darkening the topic's background.

during the team meeting. we're going to stick with note reference for now despite possible ambiguity as its what people are already familiar with

so did a workaround where we switch to a loom video if autoplay is turned off. not the most beautiful solution but it'll do for now 😅 thanks for figuring out the cause @User !

Hurray! Glad those few minutes of curiosity were helpful! 🤓 I can see a placeholder now in Firefox, which looks so much more reassuring than empty space!

I'm really having a hard time choosing between Dendron and Logseq. I love using VSCode's Vim but when comparing notes between Dendron's preview and Logseq, Logseq wins on legibility and typography. In Dendron: numbers are incorrect, the font is smaller yet it takes more vertical space due to odd line-spacing. Also anyone aware of a black text on white editor theme?

There are some people that use both. i think @User and @User might have more to add to this can you elaborate on the numbers issue? and for font, you mean the preview?

How do you select issue for CROP? It feels all issues showing up in CROP are rather recent submissions. Do you go back to earlier requests and consider them for CROP as well?

its a mix of recent issues and then items in the backlog. we have a meeting about backlog issues at the end of the week and figure out if any are good crop candidates

I don't really use preview when I'm writing in Dendron, but FWIW I do use Logseq for daily journalling (where I find strict bullet journalling and WYSIWYG works well for my brain) and they render wonderfully in Dendron, both in the editor and in preview. I also use Dendron for any sort of recall, even for things I've written in Logseq.

just found that dendron now uses nextjs publish for wiki.dendron.so 👀 looks better
