You are welcome to just send a PR. The docs are also Dendron workspaces so you should be able to edit it with Dendron 🙂 The CLA assistant should automatically ask for signing, at least it does on the main Dendron repo.

I think repot is for notes that need to be moved/merged/deleted etc., just whatever needs updating.

Interesting - I couldn't see any other references.

I just remember folks talking about it internally, especially in regards to our internal notes which were getting pretty messy

Have mostly been using obsidian so I can teach friends/family, lately. The wysiwyg release is excellent, and vim is working fairly well now too. Been wanting to try seed vaults for programming things (eslint and tslint earlier today), but couldn't quite find where the registry is, and got distracted heh

Looking forward to the day it does! I'll see what I can contribute of my own notes when we get there.

Next dendron thing I'd like to get set up is moving Notion engineering docs into repos as sub workspaces - seems like a really nice way to interweave notes and code.

Same! I'm thinking of creating some seeds for my hobbies once it's available, like crochet and cooking

looks like @User beat me to the response the
    report
tag is explained here -> https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron-site/blob/dev/vault/tags.repot.md#L10:L10 > though I suspect it is very unlikely it (nor anything else) would slip your mind, Kevin. things slip my mind all the time 😅 , hence dendron

is there a way to quickly run tests against the windows github checks? i tried to follow [[Windows|dendron://dendron.docs/dev.process.qa.windows]] and created https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/pull/2130/checks but it looks like its still running against everything from scratch

Ha! Hmm, so is it really meant to be
    repot
    (no
    r
    ) or
    report
? - You wrote it with
    r
    - The tag I originally mentioned has no
    r
    - Link you posted has no
    r
    - The only hit in the entire docs repo (unless I'm mistaken) is this single
    repot
    without
    r
Maybe it's an english word I've never heard of and I'm simply confused, but I think it's a typo.

A pain point I've hit with npm while working on publishing optimisations: it doesn't look like npm supports installing modules from a subdirectory of a monorepo. Am I missing something?

ah, that's a typo in my response. it should be
    repot
. in the spirit of gardening, a note that needs to be repotted represent ideas that have grown out of their existing shells and need a suitable new location to thrive

we have internal docs on this. @User wrote them up (they're brilliant). @User, we should add them to the public wiki next week

would be pretty dope if you guys could export the dendron lookup as a standalone vs code extension so I can create files in my project that way

Question: How easy would it be to fork the default markdown pod? Specifically, it doesn't include tags and it misses my created / updated dates from my existing markdown notes. Fixing those with a script could be tricky / imprecise. Seems like it should be a fairly easy fix inside the pod code...

Hey, I have a PR in review for importing note's metadata on markdown import. You might find this in next week's release.

If you'd like to extend the pod, you're also welcome to send in a PR. No need to maintain a separate fork.

I've cloned the repo, switched to @User's branch, I've installed the dependencies, I've built the extension. I've started it in codium. But my import doesn't have any frontmatter. Codium has the marketplace extension installed as well. Do I need to remove that in order to use the development version?
