    interview anxiety is a thing. i've seen really great candidates fail the first part of our loop because of just that. one thing to say about aws at least is that they're always hiring and if its something that you want, i would recommend re-applying after 6months

    Will do, helpful to see there are others that deal with that. In the meantime, I'm going to keep pumping out code, get network+ certified, aim for some of those AWS certs too just to improve my chances.

    and also on that note I've always seen myself doing network engineering as a career and keeping programming as a hobby since it's the only thing I really enjoy doing and don't want to get burned out on it... and there's not a lot you can do network engineering wise at home so theres always something to learn on that front. Sure you can have a homelab, but it's not the same as working on vast network infrastrucutre
