I'm shook. I was writing some code to get the
    fname
of the current note, and vscode's autocomplete suggested the name
    currentNoteFname
    when I typed
    fname
. What's crazy is that nowhere in this file it says "current". I wonder if the autocomplete is really that smart, or if I'm just tricking myself.

i think vscode completion looks through all open files in your workspace. we do have it mentioned here --> https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/blob/dev-kevin/packages/plugin-core/src/utils.ts#L477:L477

that being said, i think semantic smart auto completion would be an awesome feature 🙂

at my dayjob we have a slack channel to help each other name variables and project names 😄 if an IDE can do this for you this would be a serious boost in productivity. at least until it become sentient and takes over

at least it would come up with a cool project name before it took over...

we sorta defaulted to picking a random pokemon for project/internal package names haha. We (I) used to name my project silly punny names and in more than one instance it stuck around until it went public or to the investors so we HAD to use the stupid name I came up with as a joke lol

using a random pokemon name forced us to pick a new sensible name because we definitely did not want to make Nintendo mad.

    Praktikantix
    the joy of the names.

It's not POSIX compatible (so bash scripts don't work), but it's pretty amazing: https://fishshell.com/
