At least there is an intention to implement Zettelkasten within Dendron. Schema could be useful for a note template with standard sections for links, tags and references

I never really implemented Zettel before though, trying to get it working in 2021

@User as far as I'm aware of, zettelkasten, at its roots, is about capturing notes atomically and being able to link notes to each other. i think there's a multitude of ways you could do this in dendron. I keep a
    readings.*
hiearchy for articles and will add wikilinks to other relevant material @User might have more to say on this since he went deep into zettel at one point in time

    ban.spellright
? i don't see any recent releases so not sure why its not working. maybe vscode just upgraded? i use

So a lot of book and courseware sellers have sales currently, so I'm looking for recommendations in some of the area I'm looking to get some more skills in: * typescript * javascript * npm * webpack? * powershell

The first three to study dendron, maybe add a thing or two, and to work on the plug-in for using the Leo Editor in vscode. Powershell to work on my dotfile backup, archiving, with switching between the active dotfile per application.

"Powershell in a month of lunches" from Manning is typically recommended on reddit.

I have the one for Windows Powershell, they, (Manning), have one on Powershell core in there "MEAP" prepublish program that really seems great so far.

Yes I was thinking about that too but currently I mostly use 5.1 which is installed even on locked-down machines of some of my clients

They start of by telling you to ditch googling and learn to use the help system, guiding you through how to do that, its a good aproach. I need core to make my dotfile system cross platform.

The Powershell help system is indeed very good and useful. I like the ease to build the same for your own scripts

thx, if he doesn't catch this thread, I'll dm him. skipping some of the build conversation, some of the "helpers" are unfamilar, yarn?... . Is Webpack a good idea?

I like the tip they have of using the -online switch on help, sometime easier to browse plus you can keep it around.

webpack, depending on who you talk to, is either a panacea or a dumpster fire. it's useful to understand because so much is built on top of it (eg. Dendron Plugin) but I would recommend learning it through building projects vs trying to simply read the docs
